To say the least, the season and the past week especially, have been very disappointing for me and my teammates. 

We didn’t bounce back well at all from our close loss on Thursday to Milwaukee, and now we enter the Horizon League Tournament as the eighth seed.  We play on the road at Cleveland State Tuesday to see if we move on to play the winner of the Milwaukee-UIC game on Friday at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

This season we’ve lost to Cleveland State twice in games that were very close.  This is definitely a winnable game and the last chance to salvage our season.  For the seniors I know this is a huge game, especially after being embarrassed on Senior Day.

Federal police who captured the accused drug trafficker "La Barbie" are on front line of Mexico's drug war. But they are also fighting corruption within their ranks.

Last month in Juarez they rebelled against a commander they claimed was corrupt. That former officer is now among 3,200 federal officers who lost their jobs.

The reasons include: failing the physical exam or drug test, and in some cases, corruption.

Thousands of federal police patrol the streets of Mexico's most violent city.

The federal police officers relieved of their duties in Juarez and elsewhere in Mexico are now banned from working for any city or state police force anywhere in the country.

What a day, my feet hurt so much, it's beyond the point of regular 'I walked the mall today' pain. It's actual, muscular pain and I wanna chop them off! LOL
I rode the Metro today! I wanted to go to Washington on my own, plus Haydee had different sport commitments with her kids (which ended up being cancelled for the most part, as it started freakin' raining late afternoon)
But anyhoo, I rather not be a nuisance. I hate that when I'm doing tourist or shopping things with other people, I have to restrict where I go, how I make it there and how long I stay there. I also hate that I have to like, agree on when will I be picked up, so I have to rush everything I do, so I can make it. Ughughugh.
